So becoming a mom has changed me in many ways. But I never would have guessed that it would have made me a blogger. But here I sit, typing my first entry as Reagan takes her nap. I have decided to begin a blog that will chronicle the ordinary and not so ordinary days that I get to spend with my sweet little girl.
I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity and privilege of staying home with her. I get to see all that she learns and all the ways that she grows on a daily basis. As she begins to approach her 17th month I realize that I am having a hard time recalling what it was like to have a 15month old or a 12 month old, let alone a newborn. At the moment you think, how could I ever forget the feeling of holding her in my lap while she drinks her bottle. Or how could I ever forget the way she pronounces mommy. But the truth is you do. And as our family will one day grow, God willing, it will become even more difficult to recall the way it once was.
I hope having a blog will serve two purposes. I hope it will act as a diary for Billie and I to look back on one day and just remember. I hope it will also be a way for her family, most who live far away, to get to know her a little better and have the opportunity to watch her grow.
I hope you enjoy reading about Reagan's Days!
